Rachel Gee:

Rachel was educated at Brighton and Hove High School GPDST. She gained her teacher’s certificate and B.Ed (Hons) at Cambridge University, where she read English as her main subject.
Before and after a break to raise her family, she worked extensively in state and private schools, teaching largely to the
8 – 13 age group. Her last position was Head of English at Danes Hill Preparatory School, where she and Amanda ran a large and forward-looking department.

Amanda Alexander:

Amanda has lived and worked in Surrey all her life. She was educated at Bevendean (Danes Hill Junior School), Rowan Hill and Benenden before qualifying at the Froebel Institute in London. Subsequently she gained a post-graduate diploma at the Dyslexia Institute.
She initially worked in the state sector before taking a break to raise her family. Amanda resumed teaching at Danes Hill Preparatory School, where she co-ordinated English at Key Stage 2 and taught the subject over several year groups.

After many happy years in schools, our decision to form Lex Education has given us the time and freedom to explore new avenues in literacy.
We feel that we have much to offer children, parents and schools.
